All this adds up to an enjoyable experience full of discovery and a variety of hands-on activities.

Every Wednesday during term time only, from 1.45 pm to 5.00 pm.

FIRST QUARTER

 10 September to 17 December 2025
> Bookings by telephone from 18 August 2025 at 9am

Year 4–6 – 4 to 6 years old

Frontal portraits, from the front or in profile. Close-ups, head-and-shoulders shots, full-length portraits or American shots.
The portraits in our collections introduce the theme; those by Odette Pauvert explore it further. We ponder the portrait; we question her self-portrait. Let us now set the scene: objects, a seascape, an interior? What if we tried a low-angle shot to discover Odette Pauvert’s landscapes? There are many avenues to explore before arriving at the portrait of the ‘Promotion 4-6’ from the Wednesday workshop!

Year 7–12 – 7 to 12 years old

Frontal portraits, from the front or in profile, but we can also try three-quarter shots! Close-ups, head-and-shoulders shots, full-length portraits or American shots. The portraits in our collections introduce the theme; those by Odette Pauvert explore it further. We reflect on the portrait, we ponder her self-portrait. The notion of the background also raises questions, but from what perspective? That of a low-angle shot inspired by Odette Pauvert’s landscapes. There are many avenues to explore before arriving at the portrait of the ‘Class of 7–12’ from the Wednesday workshop!

A self-portrait that speaks volumes – ages 7 to 13

Odette Pauvert’s self-portraits stand out for their frontal composition, tight framing and direct gaze. Odette Pauvert paints herself as a determined, strong-willed artist who takes control of her own destiny. Is our self-portrait traced in invisible stitches to reveal the intimate, or in topstitching to assert one’s personality? Do matt and satin fabrics play with light and shadow, whilst textured materials allow the reflection of individual traits? A patchwork of fabrics is constructed to create an assertive self-portrait, where the composition is achieved through subtle nuances.

2nd QUARTER

From 7 January to 1 April 2026
> Bookings by telephone from 9am on Monday 1 December 2025

Let’s take another look at the umbrella species – ages 4 to 6 and 7 to 12

A toad, a seagull, a piglet, a crab… Let’s meet the animals that are a little less in the spotlight in our collections. Shapes, sizes, markings, prints and styles are all under the microscope! But what to make of this rather strange menagerie? What if we were to imagine our own umbrella species? What if the toad protected the crab, which in turn safeguarded the seagull, which in turn preserved the squirrel? Flaps, tabs and pull-tabs allow us to imagine the most far-fetched scenarios!

The Brick – Ages 7 to 13

Raw, glazed or gilded. Horizontal, vertical or at an angle. In a staggered pattern, in parallel, in stacks. The brick is our motif for imagining the walls of houses, factories, swimming pools, water tanks… The brick is screen-printed, woven, stamped, embroidered, embossed, engraved… In this highly colourful yet mineral world, we imagine gaps and openings offering new, tinted perspectives.

3rd QUARTER

From 8 April to 1 July 2026
> Bookings by telephone from 9am on Monday 2 March 2026

A P. P. P. catalogue – ages 4 to 6

A pot, a dish, a jug? A few items from our collections feature in a catalogue. Clothing, furniture, musical instruments… the La Redoute catalogue inspires us. So we start imagining some wild combinations! A mug, a vase or a small bowl? In size XS or XL? In green, red or purple? For a month or for six months? For a family or a colony of penguins? You’ll find everything ready-made in our P.P.P. catalogue: stencils, paint, pottery.

A V. P. C. catalogue – ages 7 to 13

A Portrait, a Mermaid, a Sofa? A selection of works from our collections has been styled for inclusion in the La Redoute catalogue. But these aren’t for sale – they’re all on special loan! A parakeet or a ceramic piece? In size XS or XL? In green, red or purple? For one month or for six months? For a family or a collector?
You’ll find everything available on loan in our P.S.C. catalogue: paintings, sculptures, ceramics.

A P.S.C. catalogue – ages 7 to 12

Velvet, plumetis or cashmere? Available by mail order, just like La Redoute’s first catalogue from 1928. The pieces in our collections come in a variety of materials, sizes, colours, techniques and seasons! They are presented across the pages to offer a wealth of options, combinations, variations and styles. A true creative
process unfolds: weaving, screen-printing, felting, embroidery… Our collections lend themselves to both playfulness and prêt-à-porter!
