Activities for young audiences / Landscape

Every Sunday from 4pm to 5:30pm, the museum offers a parallel activity for accompanying children aged 4 and over.

These themed activities begin with a discovery of the museum and an introduction to the works, before moving on to a creative and fun workshop!

This week, Landscape :

The observation of seascapes, rural and urban landscapes, their fluid and solid elements, and the transient states of the atmosphere, enables these notions to be reinvested in the workshop. Children create their own landscape. A base is given: the horizon line… the rest is left to the imagination.

Entertainment for young audiences / Atmospheres

Every Sunday from 4pm to 5:30pm, the museum offers, in parallel with the adult visit, an animation for accompanying children from 4 years old.

These themed activities begin with a discovery of the museum and an introduction to the works of art, before moving on to a fun and creative workshop.

This week, Ambiances :

Not only the subject, but also the colors, framing and format create the mood of a work. To better understand it, children transform it by cutting, collaging, superimposing and adding color.

Olfactory tour of the collections

On the third Sunday of each month, from 4.15pm to 5.15pm, an olfactory tour allows visitors to (re)discover some of the works in our collections through fragrances specially created by Givaudan and Symrise.
This olfactory reading is part of the sensory journey conceived by renowned designer Christian Astuguevieille.

Every Sunday from 4pm to 5:30pm, the museum offers a parallel activity for accompanying children aged 4 and over.

These themed activities begin with a discovery of the museum and an introduction to the works of art, before moving on to a fun and creative workshop.

This week, Verdure revealed:

Pressed fern, sulfated vine leaf, fixed chlorophyll.

A herbarium made up of foliage from our dye garden and our surprisingly tannic collection. Hurry up and pick.

Family activities / 4 senses

Every second Sunday of the month, from 4pm to 5:30pm, the museum offers a family workshop. Parents and children are invited to discover the museum and its collections together, around a theme.

This week, 4 senses :

These senses are explored using all the museum’s collections, the building and the sensory trail created by Christian Astuguevieille, as well as tools created by the animation team. No plastic creations are made, only experiments punctuate the session. There are several objectives: to get to know the 4 senses, to awaken them and trigger sensations in relation to the museum’s collections as a whole, and to develop a sensory vocabulary.

This week, Rehabilitation :

From the former swimming pool to the current museum: traces, materials, transformations, decoration… will help you understand what the building was and what it has become.
Only in the rooms
