FOR AGES 10–18

Tell a story through a character from our works. Imagine a narrative, an atmosphere, and emotions, set against a backdrop inspired by *La Piscine*.

The following points are covered:

• Analysing and understanding narrative imagery
• The portrayal of the character, including their mannerisms and facial expressions
• The depiction of movement and the invention of its language
• The composition of the images
• The conception of different shots and framing
• The inclusion of various perspectives in the narrative
• Understanding the sequence of shots, etc.

This drawing-based practice focuses on developing line work, as well as an understanding of black and white, light and shadow, and colour.
